Hello.
A place that does its best
for a healthy smile
This is Etoile de Seoul Dental Clinic.
Let’s share the burden on your mind together.
If you are reading this now, you are probably worried a lot about your teeth. Dentures are uncomfortable and keep coming loose, but full-mouth implants feel like a heavy burden... I imagine you are especially concerned about the cost of a full-arch treatment.
I have heard these concerns very often while meeting many people. Today, I am writing this in the hope of easing that burden even a little.
We take responsibility for your dental health.
Full-arch implants,
what exactly are they?

A full-arch implant
is, as the name suggests,
a method of restoring the entire upper or lower jaw
with only about 4 to 6 implants.
It is a treatment that offers new hope to people
who have been using dentures
or have lost many teeth.
While a standard implant places
one implant for each tooth,
a full-arch implant is similar to a building
being supported by just a few pillars
that hold up the entire structure.
Because it can restore the function of all teeth
with a small number of implants,
the treatment scope is reduced and recovery
is relatively faster.

One of the biggest advantages of full-arch implants
is that a temporary prosthesis can be placed on the same day.
You can come in in the morning,
and go home in the evening
with temporary teeth.
Of course, since it is a temporary prosthesis,
not having to spend time without teeth
is a very big relief.
The procedure usually takes about 2 to 3 hours,
and it can be performed using a 3D navigation system.
The final prosthesis is placed after the gums
have healed and the implants have stabilized.

“Director, the cost of a full-arch treatment is so burdensome that I keep putting it off. Is it really worth it?” I hear this kind of concern very often.
To be honest, the cost of full-arch treatment
is not a small amount.
However, it is more economical than replacing
all teeth with individual implants,
and above all, it completely changes your quality of life.
“Can full-arch implants be done even if I am older?”
In fact, this treatment is suitable for people
who are older and find it difficult to visit the clinic repeatedly.
Because it can restore the function of the entire set of teeth at once.

Answering your questions
Many people are curious about the difference
between full-arch implants and implant-supported dentures.
Implant-supported dentures are a method in which
dentures are attached to and removed from a few implants, so the chewing force is about 60–80% of natural teeth. Full-arch implants, on the other hand, use fixed prosthetics, so the chewing force is close to that of natural teeth and they do not move at all inside the mouth.
Many people also worry about pain right after the procedure, but pain has been greatly reduced with the use of a 3D navigation system.
It is also true that the cost of full-arch treatment varies depending on the condition of each person's mouth and the materials used.

To everyone who is worried about dental problems, I want to say this.
The longer you delay it,
the more difficult the situation can become.
If you are hesitating because of the cost of a full-arch treatment,
please start by getting an accurate examination.
Once you understand your condition correctly,
you will be able to make a wiser choice.
At Etoile de Seoul Dental Clinic,
we work together to create the most suitable treatment plan
so that we can provide what is right for each individual.
