Case of Incisional Double Eyelid Revision Surgery and Incisional Ptosis Correction at Baba Plastic Surgery

Surgical history

First surgery: 2nd year of middle school -> surgery to make the natural double eyelid more defined

Second surgery: 5 years after the first surgery -> revision surgery for a loosened double eyelid + incisional ptosis correction

Third surgery (current): Baba Plastic Surgery -> incisional ptosis re-correction + incisional re-correction of the double eyelid line

What stands out here is that although there is a history of two double eyelid surgeries, the ptosis loosened again and the eyelids felt droopy.

At Baba Plastic Surgery, after accurately determining the measurements through Agnima, we proceed with surgery after two rounds of design. The incisional double eyelid surgery method minimizes scars by removing unnecessary muscle through a minimal incision, and with delicate suturing techniques that allow for faster recovery, it can create natural results where the scar is not visible even when the eyes are closed. In the case of lateral canthoplasty, the skin blocking the outer part of the eye is finely incised by about 4�a0~�a05 mm according to the angle of the outer eye corner, and delicate suturing is performed to prevent it from reattaching.

*When canthoplasty is performed together, conjunctival edema may occur, but in many cases it naturally subsides over time. However, if the conjunctival edema does not disappear even after a certain period has passed, you should visit the hospital and receive treatment according to the specialist’s instructions.
