Hello, this is BABA Plastic Surgery^^
Are there many of you who are worried because you don’t like the line after your first surgery?
Today, we’d like to introduce the real Before & After of a patient who had a partial-incision double eyelid surgery 7 years ago, but later chose revision surgery with a semi-outer line because the line loosened over time and their eyes looked sleepy.
Surgical History / BEFORE

-
Had partial-incision double eyelid surgery about 7 years ago
-
The line loosened over time
-
Eyes looked sleepy and the expression seemed dull
-
Asymmetrical eyes (uneven eyelids) on the left and right

Patient’s request: A glamorous semi-outer line that keeps the patient’s existing image
While preserving the patient’s current image, they wanted a semi-outer eyelid line that would make the current issue—an unclear-looking eye shape—appear more defined and glamorous.
Surgical Plan & Method

✅ Minimize existing incision scars with non-incisional natural adhesion
✅ Correct sleepy-looking eyes with weak opening force using non-incisional ptosis correction
✅ Match the semi-outer line design to the facial shape

The surgery took about 1 hour,
and a custom fixation method was used to minimize swelling and scarring.
Recovery Process

Day 1 after surgery: The patient was worried about swelling, bruising, and pain, but contrary to those worries, there was little bruising and swelling, and pain was not felt unless the patient tried to open the eyes wide.

Week 2: Most of the swelling had gone down, and the sleepy, dull-looking eye shape had improved

1 month: A clear and natural semi-outer line completed

Improved symmetry between both eyelid lines
Sleepy-looking eyes → a clearer, more refreshed impression

The natural semi-outer line also looks neater when wearing makeup
The patient was very satisfied, saying, “It feels easier to open my eyes, and my expression has become much softer.”

Revision double eyelid surgery is more difficult than the first surgery, so careful consideration is necessary.
We hope this review was helpful for those who, like today’s model patient, have been concerned about a loosened line or asymmetry.
Thank you.
