The model wanted a natural straight line that would not stand out,

and especially emphasized the word “naturally,” so we planned the surgery as an implant-free correction method.

🩺 Surgical Design Process

The surgery time is generally completed in under 2 hours.

During the design process, there was a slight leftward deviation in the hump area of the bridge,

and the base of the bridge — that is, the side wall of the hump nose seen from a 45-degree angle — felt wide when the hump was shaved down.

So, while correcting the crooked nose, we planned to reduce the base area through osteotomy, raise the tip height to match the hump line, and at the same time

fill the hollowed area on the bridge with autologous tissue.

Because this method carefully refines the patient’s own structure without implants (a parent-type nose surgery),

it provides high satisfaction in terms of maintaining a natural line and the feel of the nose.

🕐 Recovery Progress

On day 2, the patient visits the clinic to remove the gauze and cotton inside the nose and receive simple care (disinfection, ointment).

On day 7, the splint is removed and the columella sutures are taken out.

During weeks 1–2, significant swelling and bruising may occur, so this is an important stage for recovery.

At one month, makeup is possible, and the natural line becomes visible.
