As aging progresses, the skin does not just sag; it also becomes sunken in various areas and appears hollow for this very reason.

However, in many cases, people are concerned about deep wrinkles caused by sagging skin and think that solving this with thread lifting will lead to noticeable anti-aging results.

What results can you expect from thread lifting combined with fat grafting?

Some patients may ask, "I only want thread lifting, so why are you recommending fat grafting too?"

We are absolutely not saying that everyone should get both thread lifting and fat grafting.

The reason is that the majority of patients who want thread lifting are doing it for anti-aging purposes.

If it seems that satisfaction will be low in that area after the procedure, we simply recommend additional procedures to complement it.

Thread lifting is a procedure in which medical threads made of various materials are inserted under the skin to regenerate collagen and lift sagging skin.

It is especially used to lift the nasolabial folds near the lips, where the skin is relatively thin, and the prominent sagging fat in the lower cheeks (jowls) upward.

In general, the survival rate of fat grafting is around 40%, so it is not limited to a single session. After the first procedure, a second procedure is typically performed 2 to 3 months later.

Starting with the assumption that the fat will decrease and injecting too much from the beginning can cause side effects such as worsened swelling and an unnatural appearance, so to reduce these issues, we perform the treatment in two stages, as explained in advance.

People who are highly satisfied after thread lifting are usually those whose main concerns are sagging skin and wrinkles, with little hollowness.

However, if the hollowness is already severe, lifting it will not make the hollowness recover, so you need to take this into account when receiving a consultation.
