Transconjunctival lower eyelid surgery is a method of making a tiny incision on the inside of the lower eyelid to reposition unnecessary fat, and it is recommended for people who still have some skin elasticity and do not have severe wrinkles.

Compared with surgery that makes an incision through the skin, it is much simpler and the scar is not visible from the outside, which has the advantage of a faster recovery.

However, if elasticity is severely reduced and wrinkles are deep, transcutaneous lower eyelid surgery is needed to improve them as well.

The incision is made close to the eyelashes, the fat is repositioned, and then the sagging skin and muscle are pulled upward and fixed in place.
