Hello. I am Kim Jun-hyun, Chief Director of Midline Plastic Surgery.
Many patients have questions before and after plastic surgery, and to explain those questions and share the right surgical methods, I created a blog called Kim Jun-hyun’s Profile Plastic Surgery and wrote about 20 posts.
It was not easy at first to explain in writing the surgeries I performed for you directly, more than I expected.
This is my blog.
Still, as patients read the posts and left comments, I learned through communication
which parts needed more explanation
and which parts patients were more worried about,
so writing explanations became much easier than at first.
^^
So far, I have focused on explaining facial contouring surgery,
forehead lift, facelift, under-eye surgery, double chin liposuction, and similar procedures,
but I had not introduced myself or my hospital,
so this time I would like to formally introduce Midline Plastic Surgery and say hello.
Midline Plastic Surgery
I will continue to help you understand plastic surgery information that can be useful to you,
by explaining it myself.
Let me introduce the Midline Plastic Surgery clinic where I practice.
A hospital name is the first impression of the clinic and expresses the meaning of its treatment philosophy,
so I had a lot to think about when opening the hospital.
Midline plastic surgery
After much thought, I chose the name Midline.
Because of my meticulous personality, I place importance on symmetry and overall harmony
from diagnosis to surgery and follow-up.
To reflect this treatment mindset, after careful consideration,
I gave it the meaning of “center line” in English.
Along with the meaning of the line down the middle of the face,
it also carries the implied meaning of aiming for a clinic that becomes the center of beauty.
My treatment philosophy is based on honest care,
and in particular, for safety, I never apply unverified procedures to patients.
For example, in rejuvenation surgery, take a forehead lift.
A forehead lift requires preserving important structures, especially nerves,
while properly releasing the retaining ligaments.
In particular, the ligaments holding the outer part of the eyebrows are strong,
and to fully release that area, a temporal approach is essential.
You should avoid surgeries that are only short-term results, lured by reducing the number of incisions.
Also, as an example in facial contouring,
you may refer to my previous post about quick zygoma side effects.
Midline does not perform surgery using quick zygoma reduction or non-fixation zygoma reduction methods.
This is for results and safety.
Midline zygoma reduction with triple fixation
In cases where side effects such as cheek sagging, recurrence, or nonunion occur after zygoma reduction surgery,
unless there has been severe external trauma,
there are many cases where the cause is incorrect zygoma fixation.
A surgery chosen for its small incision and quick recovery may,
contrary to expectations, have less effect and greater side effects,
so you should have the surgery performed by an experienced doctor using a proven method.
This is the zygoma reduction method used at Midline Plastic Surgery.
Here is one reference process of the zygoma reduction surgery among the facial contouring procedures I perform.
These days, due to the Medical Service Act, I cannot show you the actual surgical scene,
so this image is the limit of what I can show.
That is why I am currently making a video to explain more clearly
the reason why proper fixation during zygoma reduction is necessary,
in a way that is easier for you to understand.^^
You can watch it on the Midline Plastic Surgery YouTube channel.
Since I prepare it in between patients and after finishing consultations,
it is taking a little longer,
but I will make and share it as quickly as possible.
This is what I explained in the quick zygoma post.
A quick recovery does not mean a surgery is safe or good.
My treatment philosophy is that surgery must be performed using methods that have been verified over a long period of time and are reliable.
That is why the medical staff at Midline Plastic Surgery,
after identifying each patient’s needs through customized care,
think from the perspective of specialists about what elements should be added to maximize the result,
and always do our best in treatment.
In addition, all staff members, including in the operating room and treatment areas,
work to maintain cleanliness at all times.
I also always personally check once before starting clinic each day.
Ah, regarding a recent inquiry about a post on chin advancement and double chin liposuction,
someone asked me about my career before opening Midline Plastic Surgery,
so I am sharing it here.

Director Kim Jun-hyun
My daily routine is to check the treatment environment after arriving at work in the morning,
and after treatment, follow-up care, consultations, and surgery, it is evening.
And because I always do the pre-surgery design for patients again the day before,
I check the bone condition and so on,
and in the time left over, I write posts about things in plastic surgery that I definitely want you to know.
^^
There is a lot of information I want to share,
so I will continue to let you know through the blog.

After reading, you can contact the hospital if you have questions,
and if you leave a comment, I will answer it directly.
For quick inquiries, please contact the hospital.
When I am in consultation,
I will have the dedicated consultation staff kindly answer your questions.
Thank you.
