Hello~^-^
I’m Dr. Kim Jun-hyeon, CEO of Midline Plastic Surgery.
Today, I’d like to take some time to explain how we perform the endoscopic forehead lift, which is one of the procedures patients ask about most often among the surgeries I mainly perform.
Forehead lift techniques also vary widely from one plastic surgery clinic to another.
The most important differences can be said to be careful but definite dissection, resection of the depressor muscles and firm fixation, as well as the surgeon’s experience and level of detail.
For the forehead lift methods commonly performed at other plastic surgery clinics,
please refer to the previously posted “Differences in Forehead Lift Fixation.”

Then what is different about Midline’s forehead lift?
It is a Multi endoscopic forehead lift without Endotine.
Midline Plastic Surgery forehead lift method
What is a Multi endoscopic forehead lift?
It is a surgery that can achieve both an eye-lift effect and a lifting effect at the same time.
Before and after Midline forehead lift
-
5-point retaining ligament resection
-
Delicate dissection technique using an endoscope
-
Customized lifting through a custom minimal incision
-
Bone-tunneling multi fixation method
-
3-STEP suture fixation with different thread angles
These are the important points and differences.

Bone-tunneling multi fixation method
I will explain each one in detail.
Building on the bone-tunneling fixation method, which is one of the more difficult forehead lift techniques,
this is Midline’s own method that increases retention and makes the fixation effect even more reliable:
the bone-tunneling multi fixation method.
▼
When surgery is performed using the bone-tunneling multi fixation method,
claustrophobic-looking eyes are improved more beautifully,
and a definite lifting effect is added as well,
so it can be said to be a surgery that improves both appearance and function in a multi-way.
Forehead lift in your 20s
This surgical method can be customized to suit each person’s concerns, regardless of age or gender,
whether in your 20s to 40s or in your 50s to 60s.
Forehead lift effect
The multi forehead lift, which brightens a heavy and drooping eye area,
improves wrinkles around the eyes, between the eyebrows, and on the forehead,
and lifts sagging eyebrows,
does not use Endotine.
Using Dr. Kim Jun-hyeon’s bone-tunneling multi fixation method,
which broadens the fixation range and secures it firmly,
this is a forehead lift unique to Midline Plastic Surgery that improves heavy-looking eyes in people in their 20s to 40s,
while also simultaneously improving sagging around the eyes and forehead.
Also, with detailed 3-STEP suture fixation in the bone-tunneling multi fixation method,
the fixation range is widened by changing the angle of the threads,
and fixation strength is increased.
For patients in their 50s to 60s with severe sagging,
additional bilateral temporal fixation is performed.
Therefore, there is a difference in cost.
Eyebrow shape correction
The effects that can be achieved with a forehead lift
are not limited to lifting and improving the eye area.
It is also possible to correct asymmetry in eyebrow height
and to create eyebrow shapes that match the patient’s needs,
and here too, the results and satisfaction can differ depending on the skill and method used.
By considering each individual’s eyebrow shape, eye-opening strength, and facial shape,
Midline custom minimal incision surgery creates the trendy eyebrows that fit you best,
while also improving uneven eyes and asymmetry at the same time.
Forehead lift sensory nerve preservation
In endoscopic forehead lift surgery,
the part where the doctor’s experience matters most is delicate dissection and resection of the retaining ligaments.
Using an endoscope, we carefully and precisely dissect while visually confirming sensory nerves, retaining ligaments, blood vessels, and muscles.
This helps prevent sensory nerve damage, making the surgery safer and allowing for faster recovery after surgery.
Plastic surgery clinic for depressor muscle retaining ligament resection
To address the root cause of eye-area sagging,
we perform surgery using the 5-point retaining ligament resection method.
If you are worried about nerve damage side effects from a forehead lift
At Midline Plastic Surgery,
if the patient requests it,
we record the patient’s endoscopic surgery process
so that they can directly confirm whether the retaining ligaments were resected and whether sensory nerves were preserved.
That is all for today:
key surgical points you should know when considering a forehead lift!
And I’ve explained Midline Plastic Surgery’s own surgical method,
the bone-tunneling multi fixation method.
