The outer corners of my eyes are open and my eyes stingㅠㅠI had lateral canthoplasty revision and eye corner restoration.(feat. Endoscopic forehead lift)

The person who visited this time wanted a forehead lift, and during the consultation

they also said they were unhappy with the part where the outer corners of the eyes had opened after the lateral canthoplasty.

When the outer corners of the eyes are lowered a lot, as shown in the photo,

the outer corner can become slightly turned outward like that,

and a lot of scarring can remain.

There is more room for tears to evaporate,

and the eyes can feel dry.

To compensate for that, more tears are produced

and they collect around the outer corners of the eyes.

We decided to perform lateral canthoplasty revision (eye corner restoration) along with the forehead lift.

The scar tissue from the lateral canthoplasty was removed and the opened outer corner of the eye was closed.

It is important to make the upper and lower tarsal plates come into contact.

In other words, this is restoring the gray line I mentioned in the previous post.

These are photos taken on the day the stitches were removed after surgery.

It’s unfortunate that, because the patient lives in a different province, they were unable to come back after that day.

The lateral canthoplasty revision was successful, and the forehead lift results were also good.^-^

This was a case where restoring the outer corners of the eyes also helped improve the stinging sensation.
