Hello, this is Dr. Kim Jun-hyun of Midline Plastic Surgery.
Forehead lifts are now definitely a more common procedure than they were 10 years ago.
Some people come in because they need a forehead lift before getting double eyelids,
and others come in because their eyelids have drooped but the space between the eyes and eyebrows is narrow.
A forehead lift can help relieve these concerns, but it becomes a problem
when the effect is weak—in other words, when there is little difference.
On the other hand, there are also very rare cases where the forehead lift went well,
but the person wants to bring it down.
The case I’m discussing this time is someone who had a forehead lift,
but felt that it was raised more than they expected and wanted to lower it.

Forehead lift release, or lowering the eyebrows,
uses the same surgical method as a forehead lift.
The difference is that a forehead lift fixes the tissue at the point where it can be raised as much as possible,
while forehead lift release fixes it at the position before surgery.
After lowering and securing it this way, the stitches were removed 7 days later.

There is some bruising, but the swelling and bruising can be said to be in very good condition.
For easier comparison, I will show the before-and-after photos side by side.

I have explained a surgery that lowers eyebrows that were raised by a forehead lift
using the same method as the forehead lift procedure.
