Hello, I’m Dr. Junhyun Kim, director of Midline Plastic Surgery.
I previously introduced a case of a person in their 20s who was young, but had developed deep forehead wrinkles because they had been raising their eyebrows since childhood when opening their eyes.

The link above is that post.
This time, I’ll show you a middle-aged man who started using his forehead more because his eyelids sagged with aging.

When sagging eyelids make the field of vision feel obstructed, people tend to use their forehead a lot to raise their eyebrows.
The man above also appears to have deep forehead wrinkles, which suggests that he usually raises his eyebrows a lot.
In cases like this, because the eyebrows are already raised much more than when the forehead is relaxed, a forehead lift does not cause a large change in the eye shape.
This is also an area I focus on during consultations.
Let’s take a look at how deep the forehead wrinkles have become.

While performing the endoscopic forehead lift, the deeply indented forehead wrinkles were smoothed out with filler.
Even if the forehead is lifted through surgery, wrinkles that have already become deeply etched will leave their marks behind.
Here is the appearance 6 months after surgery.

Let’s compare it with before surgery.

The forehead has been smoothed out, creating a more relaxed-looking impression.
The sunken wrinkles also appear to have improved well.
I tell patients that if a forehead lift is done, the results from around one and a half months after surgery will continue to be maintained.
So, to show this, I’ll also compare photos taken one and a half months after surgery.

The photos taken 1.5 months after surgery and those taken 6 months after surgery are being well maintained without sagging.
For a forehead lift to turn out well like this, first, the dissection must be thorough,
and second, the fixation must be strong.
