Hello, this is Dr. Kim Junhyun from Midline Plastic Surgery.
Since I already talked earlier about how a forehead lift is done and in what cases it is performed,
let’s skip ahead and look at the case.

This is a person who says their eyes feel heavy.
Looking at the characteristics, the space between the eyes and eyebrows is narrow, and the upper eyelids are puffy.
The eyes sit deep, and the brow bone is well developed as well.
Relatively speaking, this makes the forehead, including the eyelids, feel heavier.
So the eyes feel heavy, and when opening the eyes, the forehead is used more relatively.
In cases like this, if you gently lift the eyebrows with your hand, patients say it becomes easier to open their eyes.
This is a way to directly check the effect of a forehead lift.
For people who feel more comfortable when their eyebrows are lifted, a forehead lift often makes opening the eyes much easier.
On the other hand, people who do not feel much difference even when lifting the eyebrows by hand
often feel about the same when opening their eyes after surgery as well.
The forehead lift was performed using the bone tunneling multi-fixation method.

Because they were bothered by dark circles that could not even be covered by makeup,
under-eye fat repositioning and under-eye fat grafting were also performed together.
Here are photos taken one month after surgery.

Left) Before surgery / Right) 1 month after forehead lift and under-eye dark circle surgery
As the forehead became flatter and the eyebrows were lifted,
the double eyelids that had been hidden by the puffy upper eyelids became visible.
The volume above the eyes also looks reduced.
The under-eye dark circles also improved well as the hollowness became less pronounced.
I realized I had never shown before-and-after photos with the eyes closed,
so I’ll compare those photos as well.

Left) Before surgery / Right) 1 month after forehead lift and under-eye dark circle surgery
Before surgery, the double eyelid line remains quite visible even when the eyes are closed.
After surgery, as the space between the eyes and eyebrows becomes flatter, it looks much more natural.
Those of you who have come in for consultation may remember this,
but I tell you that the effect of a forehead lift remains the same as the state one month after surgery.
If you look at the photos from three months, you’ll understand.

Left) Before surgery / Middle) 1 month after surgery / Right) 3 months after surgery

Left) Before surgery / Middle) 1 month after surgery / Right) 3 months after surgery
There is almost no difference between one month and three months.
The scar at the hairline that formed during the forehead lift is continuing to improve.
Before and after surgery, the overall impression looks brighter and more refreshed.
This is not just the result of the forehead lift alone,
but also because there was a synergistic effect from reducing the under-eye dark circles.
For people whose eyes look heavy and tired like this,
try lifting your eyebrows with your hands, and if opening your eyes feels easier and you like how your eyes look in that position,
I recommend getting a forehead lift as soon as possible.
It goes without saying that there is no need to keep delaying under-eye surgery either.
