I Finally Made It to Knotted Cheongdam, the Already Super-Hot Donut Spot.

You know how smiles have that strange charm that makes you smile just by looking at them? Since that kind of smile is placed on a sweet dessert like a cake, I thought it was such a well-matched design, and because of that image, it became a hot spot on SNS.

But since there aren’t many stores of #Knotted that sell this precious #SmileCake... I only got to try it now. I visited #KnottedCheongdam with high expectations after hearing so many people say it was really good and delicious.

Although the Smile Cake is often seen in photo posts, Knotted is actually a #donut specialty shop. In fact, that’s why there are more people coming to buy donuts.

We were also planning to eat at the Knotted Cheongdam location, so we ordered donuts.

I thought there would only be donuts since it’s said to be a #donut hot spot, but that wasn’t the case.

According to my friend, the Cheongdam branch has a slightly more varied menu than other locations.

It was my first time visiting Knotted, and luckily I came to Knotted Cheongdam, where there are various kinds of #donuts. I guess that was a lucky choice, or you could say I’m blessed when it comes to dessert and food.

Compared to that, this was a Knotted visit that was definitely late—no, plainly late—and I think I’m one of those people who are trying Knotted donuts for the first time.

The interior of Knotted Cheongdam really uses smiles so well that it feels like a place where you’d make cakes with them. It has a cute interior that seems to lead you into a world of childhood.

Because of that, people were taking photos everywhere, and this place has also appeared on TV a lot. There’s a space where you can take pretty pictures, so everyone was busy taking photos there.

I also don’t get many chances to come out to Apgujeong Rodeo, and since I was at such a hot place, I thought I should take some pictures too... But people kept going over to take photos, so I couldn’t get the timing right, and I got tired of having to read the room just to take pictures, so in the end I gave up and just focused on the donuts while chatting.

After visiting Knotted Cheongdam and eating delicious donuts, I thought of the people in my neighborhood who don’t have one nearby, so I packed some to take with me.

We still had some left after eating that day.

That’s because I didn’t eat the packed ones after coming back from eating there.

Even so, while deciding what to choose because I kept thinking about when I’d get to go to Knotted again, I ended up buying a bit too much!!

In short, I understood why they make it fresh that day and sell it that same day.

Whether we ate it in the store or after packing it up at home, it was definitely delicious.

Then, as time passed and the donuts came out of the refrigerator... the bread became a little dry, and the texture wasn’t very good.

But one thing is certain: Knotted’s creams are all delicious. Whether it’s the same day or after some time has passed.

From Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station, go straight, enter the alley right after passing Jaws Tteokbokki, then turn left at the first intersection!! It may seem like it’s tucked away in an alley, but it’s not hard to find.
