This week they said the weather would get warmer, but because the wind is cold, it still feels like it’s chilly. One filling and inexpensive dish was bean sprout soup with rice. I heard that even the price of bean sprout soup with rice has been rising lately.
Still, it seems nice that it’s something you can eat without much 부담.
There’s also a bean sprout soup with rice restaurant near Apgujeong Station. It must be a popular place, because the customers are always packed inside.
Most people come to Wansangol Myeonga, Apgujeong Branch, for bean sprout soup with rice, but they also have a variety of other menu items, so I had been thinking I’d like to try something other than bean sprout soup with rice.
So today, I chose a different menu item instead of bean sprout soup with rice.
Of course, the people I came with ordered bean sprout soup with rice. It seems that even when it comes to bean sprout soup with rice, everyone has their own way of eating it.
Some people add all the seaweed flakes, chili peppers, and salted fermented shrimp, while others eat it without adding anything and put the soft-cooked egg into the bean sprout soup with rice.
Even when eating the same dish, everyone has a different style

I visited Wansangol Myeonga with the intention of eating bean sprout soup with rice, but after sitting down, my mind changed, so I ordered stone pot bibimbap.
It had been a really long time since I had stone pot bibimbap, so I waited for the food to come out with excitement.
The bibimbap came with seaweed soup. I had naturally expected bean sprout soup to be served.
I debated between stone pot bibimbap and jjukkumi bibimbap, but went with the basic one. It was packed with vegetables, so mixing it was really hard.
Instead of a fried egg, they topped it with a raw egg yolk. You just add gochujang to suit your taste and mix everything together.
As expected, with so many vegetables, bibimbap can’t not taste good. Since it’s now jjukkumi season too, I should try the jjukkumi bibimbap next time.
