After tasting the egg tarts once and being surprised by how good they were, I’ve kept stopping by whenever I’m craving a tasty snack. It’s a place that sells coffee, but what stands out is that our real purpose is entirely the egg tarts, so let me introduce you to this delicious egg tart spot in Apgujeong.

As I mentioned earlier, the famous egg tart spot in Apgujeong, Jogi Coffee Roasters, is known as a cafe with good value. They serve drinks in can-shaped containers, which is why the place often appears in SNS photos. But here’s a little secret: I’ve never actually ordered a drink there.

The only reason I visit Jogi Coffee Roasters is for these egg tarts.

There are five kinds: Classic Egg Tart, Cream Cheese, Cacao Chocolate, Walnut, and Vanilla Bean, and all of them cost the same except for Vanilla Bean.

When I visit after lunch for a snack, as usual, there are hardly any egg tarts left. I think that’s probably because the owner only bakes them in the morning. Maybe that’s why, no matter when you visit and order, you can enjoy crispy and soft, delicious egg tarts, which is why Jogi Coffee Roasters can be called an egg tart hotspot in Apgujeong.

They pack the egg tart in wax paper for easy eating.

What’s interesting is that they don’t put it in an aluminum egg tart cup to keep its shape; they wrap it directly in paper, so it’s easy to eat. The moment I took a bite, the tart crust cracked into many layers and I could feel its crispness, while the filling was so soft that it melted in my mouth.
