Review of Eating Waffle University’s Popular Menu Item, Cream Waffle
You know those days, right? You’ve had a delicious meal, but somehow you still feel like you haven’t really eaten enough!!
It also feels like your stomach gets empty faster than usual on days like that!!!
On days like that, I always end up looking for a snack. Korea really is a paradise for snacks, with so many different options that it can be a happy kind of dilemma, and I love that. The snack I’m introducing today is a waffle.
It was once a huge trend, but it feels like it has quieted down a bit lately. Still, I noticed Waffle University, a waffle specialty shop, and thought I absolutely had to try it at least once—and here I am finally getting to eat it.
Every store usually has its own popular menu item, and since Waffle University has so many chains, I figured it must definitely have a signature hit menu item.

I chose Waffle University’s popular menu item as a snack, but since tastes differ from person to person, I gave the choice between waffles with cinnamon and those without cinnamon.
I think the reason Waffle University is so popular is probably this cream.
Personally, when I eat waffles, I think the basic waffle bread is important, but what matters even more is the topping inside the waffle. If the cream, which is the most basic part, isn’t tasty, I end up eating it only once, and it doesn’t make me want it again.
But with Waffle University’s cream waffle, I understood why it’s a popular menu item.
The moment I took the waffle out of the wrapper, I was greeted with beautiful cream. Since some time had passed after it was made before it was delivered, it could have become soggy or the cream could have been squashed and smeared onto the wrapper, but none of that happened at all.
I could see why Waffle University’s cream waffle is so popular.

You can eat the waffle whole, but I wanted to cut it in half and feel the chewiness of the waffle bread.
Even when I cut the waffle in half, the cream didn’t ooze out messily at all, and the waffle bread didn’t feel soggy either. Instead, it felt chewy, and I could see why Waffle University is so popular.
It really made me feel that a popular menu item is different.

Even without adding any toppings to Waffle University’s popular cream waffle, it was so delicious that I really enjoyed eating it. There’s nothing more disappointing than choosing a snack to satisfy a little hunger and idle cravings only to find that it doesn’t taste good. From the moment I started eating Waffle University’s cream waffle, and even after finishing it, I felt that it was a very good choice.
Even people who don’t usually like waffles might find themselves thinking about Waffle University’s cream waffle from time to time after trying it once.
