Revision surgery due to implant visibility

The second patient also had issues related to the implant. From the front, the implant was visible through the skin in an unnatural way, obvious to anyone as a sign of surgery. From the side, the glabella had become too high because of the implant, and the skin at the tip of the nose was very thin, making it look sharp as if it might soon break through the skin.

The result showed that the problem was the use of L-shaped silicone in the nose. Because L-shaped silicone is not inserted separately for the bridge and the tip, it can cause bigger problems in the long term, so it needed to be replaced with I-shaped silicone.

When that still did not resolve their concerns, they visited another hospital. After that, frequent surgeries caused inflammation from the implant, and they underwent implant removal surgery.

However, it was unfortunate that a contracted nose developed in the empty space left by the implant, causing the nose to become shorter and upturned.
