The human eyeball is round, and the curvature of the eyelids, which indicates the degree of bend in a curve or curved surface, differs from person to person. Therefore, the effect of back-and-lower widening is enhanced by considering both the angle of the eye when viewed from the front and the angle generated by the curvature of the eye in three dimensions.

During surgery, the design should be performed by calculating the angle of the eye corner, and then the back-corner widening angle should be finely adjusted according to the curvature of the eye. After performing bidirectional dissection, which involves back-corner widening through an inner incision at the outer canthus and lower widening through an incision inside the conjunctiva at the same time, the eye corner can be fixed twice to the periosteum to improve the eyes in a more striking and open way.

If the outer white part of the eye is widened too much, the shape of the eye corner can become unnatural, dry eye can be caused, or red tissue may become exposed.
