The alar cartilage is carefully dissected and firmly fixed to the septal extension graft to create a strong support structure and raise the tip. At this time, appropriate cartilage grafting must be performed in the space between the nasal bone and the line extending from the upper lateral cartilage, as well as in the empty space at the tip.

This process is more difficult than it may seem, and if the graft is placed incorrectly depending on the length and thickness of the cartilage, the bridge area may become uneven or the cartilage may be felt, so caution is needed.

When the tip is raised by the septal cartilage, the nasolabial angle can also be naturally corrected, which gives a more refined appearance.

Let's compare the appearance before surgery and immediately after surgery.
