The tip of the nose was elevated using the patient’s own cartilage to suit the proportions of a male face, while the nasal bridge was augmented using a silicone implant.

Since men and women generally have different desired outcomes in rhinoplasty, this difference must be carefully taken into consideration.

The silicone implant for the nasal bridge should be selected to match an appropriate bridge height and line that suit a masculine impression. For the nasal tip, it is important to create a shape with a substantial and masculine appearance.

The patient was cosmetically satisfied with having a more masculine-looking nose after rhinoplasty, and was also satisfied that the nasal obstruction on the right side, which had been uncomfortable, had been resolved.
