Hello, this is Dana Plastic Surgery, “Simeun Dae-ro.”
There are broadly three methods of hair transplantation.
Incisional hair transplantation, which obtains grafts by making an incision in the scalp at regular intervals;
non-incisional hair transplantation, which collects follicles randomly within a certain range without making an incision;
and finally, no-shaving non-incisional hair transplantation, which is performed without shaving the head during non-incisional hair transplantation.
In this way, the methods are divided according to how follicles are obtained from the donor area.
It is difficult to say definitively which is better, and because each surgical method has its own advantages and disadvantages,
it is best to choose the surgical method that suits you.
In this post, we will briefly compare the three surgical methods mentioned above.

Looking at the table above,
Incisional hair transplantation involves cutting the skin, so it has the drawback of post-surgery pain and a linear scar remaining, but it can be performed at a relatively affordable price. In addition, pain can occur a lot during the process of cutting and suturing the skin, so it is not suitable for people with low scalp elasticity.
On the other hand, non-incisional hair transplantation collects follicles randomly within a set range, so it has the advantages of less pain and no visible scar.
However, compared to incisional hair transplantation, it is more expensive and requires shaving.
No-shaving non-incisional surgery was developed as an alternative to the drawback of non-incisional surgery, which usually requires shaving.
While maintaining the advantages of non-incisional hair transplantation and eliminating the need for shaving, it is attracting a lot of attention, but it also has the drawback of being the most expensive.
Then, let's take a closer look at the comparison of hair transplantation methods through Director Park Jae-hyun's video!
