Checklist of Things to Tell the Hospital Before Hair Transplant Surgery

Today, together with Director Park Jae-hyeon,

we will take a look at

the checklist of things to tell the hospital before hair transplant surgery.

1. Whether you have other surgery plans before or after hair transplant surgery

If you have any plans for other surgeries before or after hair transplant surgery,

such as plastic surgery, eye surgery, laser procedures, fillers, and so on,

it is best to check in advance

the possible timing for surgery and any periods when you should be careful.

2. Conditions that may affect your surgical position

Next,

please tell us about any condition or situation that may affect your surgical position.

 

For example, if you have a spinal condition, severe cervical disc problems, or cannot lie face down because of breast augmentation surgery, and so on,

these cases should all

be told to the hospital in advance.

Also,

if you received a forehead implant, filler, fat grafting, etc. within 1 to 3 weeks before hair transplant surgery,

it may affect the surgical position,

so please be sure to tell the hospital in advance.

And

if you are planning a midface lift or thread lifting,

please let us know before surgery

so the schedule can be adjusted.

3. If special care is needed for certain medications or injections (allergies, illnesses, conditions, prohibited drugs, etc.)

If you are allergic to anesthesia, injections, or medications,

you must

tell the hospital.

Also,

if you have any specific illness,

please let the hospital know in advance before surgery.

And especially,

if you are pregnant or may be pregnant,

it is best to check in advance,

as this may affect medication use.

Finally,

athletes should definitely check for prohibited drugs.
