Hello, today we’ll take some time to learn about one of the procedures used when hair loss occurs:
“scalp micropigmentation.”

Scalp micropigmentation can be described as a micro tattoo on the scalp.
Like a regular tattoo, it can also be used to draw images,

but it creates the appearance of hair by drawing on the hair itself, as if there were hair there.
It can be called pointillism. It marks an area with dots.

It is a method that uses small dots so that the dots come together to look like one continuous area.

Scalp micropigmentation can be completed in just one session.
However, at Dana Plastic Surgery Clinic, a perfect result is achieved through a total of about three treatments.

With treatment intervals of about 2 weeks to 1 month, the tattoo remains in the upper dermis beneath the epidermis, and after waiting for the dermis to renew once,
we check how the pigment has developed.
After that period has passed, we check how it has changed and perform additional touch-ups,
adding color again to the areas that were treated more lightly so that they appear much more defined,
and we carry out the procedure so it can be more precise and complete.
