I heard you shouldn’t lie face down after breast surgery, so can you still have hairline correction?

We’ll take some time to talk about that question.

Q. Can I have hairline correction surgery after breast surgery?

This is a question many women ask.

“It’s been a month since I had breast augmentation surgery. Can I still have hairline correction surgery?”

Why does this question come up? It is closely related to the posture used during hairline correction surgery.

Looking at the surgical methods for incision and non-incision procedures,

in incision procedures, the graft is usually harvested while lying face down.

Also, in most hospitals, non-incision procedures are also performed with the patient lying face down during harvesting.

Hair transplant surgery takes at least 2 to 3 hours just in the face-down position.

Because of these surgical methods, you may feel that both incision and non-incision procedures are difficult after breast surgery.

To give the conclusion first, you do not need to worry. :)

At Dana, both incision and non-incision procedures are possible even after breast surgery.

in the case of incision procedures, the graft is basically harvested while lying face down,

but if the patient has undergone breast surgery or for any other reason, or has a spinal condition, we perform the procedure by harvesting while seated.

then a non-incision procedure is more comfortable. That is because Dana Plastic Surgery performs non-incision procedures while the patient is seated.

Because the graft is harvested while seated, there is no chance of the breasts being pressed at all.

Also, at Dana, after harvesting is complete, the implantation is done while lying flat.

Then, what are the advantages and disadvantages of harvesting in a seated position?

First, the advantages of the seated position:

It is easier to find the center point. Not only can punching and extraction be done simultaneously,

but it also offers excellent follicle quality and has tremendous advantages for unshaven non-incision and long-hair non-incision procedures.

Unshaven non-incision and long-hair non-incision procedures in the face-down position are difficult to harvest.

The disadvantage of the seated position is

that the equipment used for seated procedures is very expensive.
