Hair Transplant: Truth or Lie!

We’re going to talk about information related to hair transplantation that has been misunderstood
or distorted.
Before preparing for a hair transplant,
we want to help you study hair transplantation by learning the correct knowledge and accurate information,
and based on that, choose a good clinic!
Slit / Implanter

Which method between slit / implanter takes longer to master?

There is not a huge difference between the slit and implanter methods, and they are not fundamentally different.
Making holes with a slit is not, by itself, a particularly advanced technique.
It is a method of creating a space for the transplanted follicles by piercing with a blade or syringe needle
and then placing the grafts into that space.

As with all surgeries, skill and knowledge are required,
but when it comes to the slit itself, it is not especially difficult.
The surgeon’s skill in hair transplantation?

Also, in hair transplantation, being able to skillfully implant follicles
is not the only thing that shows a doctor’s skill.

I think the period of training needed for hair transplant surgery should be considered
only a part of the overall process of handling the instruments.

The reason is that knowledge of hair loss, understanding of the hairline, knowledge and understanding of hair,
different harvesting methods and implantation methods, various instruments and equipment, side effects and how to handle and solve them, etc.
All of these different and complex elements combined together
is what should be called the training period for hair transplant surgery.

If we really compare the implanter / DNI / forceps,
the one with the shortest training period needed to start surgery is the implanter!
However, the problem here is that it takes a long time of effort and research
until skilled, good results are produced!!
The implanter is easy to start with, but difficult to master in hair transplantation.

Therefore, regarding the surgeon’s skill in hair transplantation,
-
- The time, effort, and skill needed to produce skilled results are most demanding with the implanter!
-
- The skill that is acquired directly by the doctor’s own hands, not by a third party (such as a nurse or medical assistant), is important!
-
- Handling the technique itself is only part of the skill!
