Hello
This is Dana Plastic Surgery!
This time, I’d like to share information about pain after hair transplant surgery.
Is hair transplant surgery very painful?
Questions about pain after hair transplantation

Many people ask a lot of questions because they are worried about pain after hair transplantation.
So I always think about how to make it as painless as possible.
Because of this strong interest in pain,
I once presented a paper at APS comparing postoperative pain according to hair transplant harvesting methods.
Since it is almost the only research paper of its kind,
I think I can still explain pain as an expert who knows the topic very well
and can give an explanation that is quite close to the facts.
Comparison of pain after hair transplantation

As shown in the graph above,
non-incisional surgery is numerically about half of incisional surgery,
but the actual pain felt is much milder.
I tell almost everyone that it hurts until they sleep for two nights.
By the third day, almost no one is complaining much about pain.
Pain after hair transplantation can vary greatly depending on the surgical method.

Then what is the pain pattern for those who undergo incisional surgery?
Let’s take a closer look in the next part!
In addition to pain after hair transplantation, the [Dana Plastic Surgery YouTube] channel offers a variety of useful information related to hair transplant surgery.
