Hello. This is Lifton Dermatology.
Recently, there have been a great many types of skin boosters. In the past, they were represented by water-shine injections, then Rejuran became wildly popular, and at some point the atmosphere has been taken over by polymer products.
For example, Sculptra, Juvelook, Juvelook Volume, Olidia, and others. I will explain Radiesse, a volume booster that is similar yet different.
Radiesse is a product that was often used about a decade ago as a calcium filler, but then became less common. Overseas, it is used in a somewhat different way, and is often used not as a volume filler but as a volume booster/skin booster. In fact, many related papers have been published.
By a different way, I mean... it is diluted and spread broadly.
Let me introduce one related paper.

The title says biostimulatory agent, right? If the drug called Radiesse is diluted and injected, it acts as a stimulant and produces collagen, and so on.
For reference, Sculptra or Juvelook Volume are in powder form, so they require a hydration step, but Radiesse does not need that kind of preparation, which makes it very convenient.

These are the key points emphasized in this paper.
-
Receive treatment 2 to 3 times at 1- to 2-month intervals.
-
The more it is diluted, the less volumizing effect there is. (If you do not want a puffy look, you do not need to worry.)
-
If it is diluted more, the risk of lump-forming side effects decreases.
-
One product can treat an area of 100~300 cm2. (Full face)
It is repeated treatment, and the volume effect is small, so what kind of effect can be expected?

As shown above, it has an effect on remodeling the skin tissue. Simply put, it can induce collagen and elastin to grow, give elasticity to loose skin, improve fine wrinkles, and somewhat fill in slightly sunken areas.

Please use the before/after treatment photos as a reference.

In addition to the face, it can be used anywhere, including the neck, abdomen, and arms.
Today, we looked at Radiesse, one type of skin booster. For the treatment area and effects, please receive an accurate diagnosis before undergoing the procedure.
Thank you.
