Hello. This is Lifton Dermatology Clinic.
Recently, we have posted several blog entries about Radiesse,
and more people than expected have been coming in after reading the blog posts.
When they already come to the consultation room very well informed about Radiesse, we once again feel the power of blogs, haha.
The link to our previous Radiesse blog post is here..
Since our clinic mainly focuses on lifting treatments, we also often get asked whether Ultherapy, the representative name for lifting devices (EBD), and Radiesse can be done on the same day, so today I’d like to talk about that topic^^
If you read the post linked above first, it will probably be easier to understand. (It is a series, about 3 to 4 parts.)
To start with the conclusion: it is possible to perform Ultherapy and Radiesse at the same time.
No, I would even say it is better to perform them at the same time.

It may be easier to understand if you look at it as a diagram.
Based on the skin
Orange (directly below the dermis, 1~2 mm): Radiesse
Light green 1 (subcutaneous fat layer, 3 mm transducer): Ultherapy
Light green 2 (fascia layer, 4.5 mm transducer): Ultherapy
In this way, it can create lifting effects across all layers, from the dermis to the fascia at 4.5 mm.
Recently, combination treatment using lifting devices (EBD) has become a major trend.
For example, combinations such as Ultherapy + Thermage or Shurink + Doublo use EBDs with different mechanisms
and treat different target layers.
Ultherapy (MFU-V) and Radiesse (CaHA) have also been around for a long time, so their effectiveness and safety have been verified,
and because there has been extensive experience worldwide, many related studies and papers have also been accumulated, so I think you can receive the treatment with confidence^^
In fact, in cases treated at our clinic as well, we have experienced greater effects when the treatments were combined,
rather than when Ultherapy or Radiesse was performed alone.

To introduce one overseas research result,
there was also a paper showing good results when Ultherapy and Radiesse were combined and performed on 47 patients~
