Hello, this is Lifton Dermatology.
Today, we’d like to take a look at procedures that refine facial shape.
When we say, “improving facial shape,” people usually think of lifting. In reality, though, it seems to be a concept beyond lifting.
In the past, if the cheeks or eyes sagged, people would think, “Well, just lift them back up with a lifting procedure~” But since that could not solve the problem of reduced skin elasticity, the concept of tightening also emerged. However, now I think it is more appropriate to approach it more broadly as a complex concept such as facial contouring.

This is a famous illustration. As aging progresses, it is not simply that flesh descends and deep nasolabial folds and jowls become more noticeable.
-
A decrease in the size of facial fat pads causes hollowing in various areas.
-
A decrease in skin elasticity leads to sagging.
-
Sagging of the muscles.
-
Resorption of the facial bones.
These factors work together in combination.
So to address this, wouldn’t a combination of treatments be necessary?

As shown in the illustration above, the skin also has multiple layers. Therefore, when doing combination treatments, it is important to understand the composition of these skin layers and the treatment location.
So, how can we maximize the effects of Ultherapy?
By combining it with procedures that address areas Ultherapy cannot fully cover.

If it is difficult to lift using Ultherapy alone, you can get help from Titanium or Onda lifting. If the degree of lifting feels insufficient, you can get help from thread lifting.
In addition, areas where volume has hollowed out due to fat loss are best filled with fillers or volume threads such as Jambor. The goal is to achieve a tenting effect, not simply to add volume.
In this way, aging changes such as sagging skin and hollowing can be improved more beautifully and naturally through various procedures with different principles.
