Hello, this is Liftone Dermatology at Sinsa Station.
One of the factors that makes us look older is the nasolabial fold.
The first treatment that usually comes to mind for improving nasolabial folds is nasolabial filler. However, some people hesitate because they are worried about filler migration.
Since the nasolabial area has many surrounding muscles, the filler can be pushed outward to the sides when you smile. If that happens, the volume above the nasolabial fold can become larger, making the fold look even deeper.

So how do you improve nasolabial folds?
You need to identify and address the cause of the nasolabial folds, right? First, sagging in the area above the nasolabial fold can make the fold look deeper. (As we age, fat tends to shift downward.)

Therefore, if this tendency is strong in your facial type, lifting should be done together. It is not something that can be solved by simply filling in volume.
Next is the sunken appearance of the nasolabial fold itself. In this case, filler may be the first thing that comes to mind. But if you keep adding filler endlessly in an attempt to erase the nasolabial fold, it can look puffed up like a monkey, feel very unnatural, fail to take a nice shape, and even migrate sideways.

These days, collagen boosters are often considered instead. The downside is that they are less likely to produce an immediate effect.
So I recommend reducing the amount of filler injected by using volume threads.

If you place a few lines of volume threads, which are curled up like springs and look like jamber, the risk of migration is reduced and volume is restored naturally.
Of course, it is difficult to improve the nasolabial fold completely with volume threads alone, so after placing the jamber threads, the details are lightly finished with filler.
Because the amount of filler injected is reduced, side effects from filler are also significantly reduced, and since jamber threads are the cannula type, bruising does not occur.
This treatment method can also be applied to other areas.
It can be applied in a similar way to Indian bands, the jawline, and hollow areas on the sides of the cheeks.
