Today, we would like to explain in detail Ultherapy Prime, a lifting treatment that offers clear results with enhanced lifting technology.

1. What Is Ultherapy Prime?

Ultherapy Prime is a premium ultrasound lifting procedure that is an upgraded version of the original Ulthera, launched 15 years later.

By delivering more precise ultrasound energy to the deep layers of the skin (the SMAS layer) than the previous Ulthera,

it provides a stronger and more even lifting effect.

2. Features of Ultherapy Prime

The previous Ulthera could also visualize the skin layers through ultrasound, but the resolution was somewhat lacking.

However, Ultherapy Prime has improved ultrasound resolution and, with noise-reduction technology, enables clearer analysis of the skin layers.

Thanks to this, the treatment area can be targeted more accurately, increasing effectiveness while reducing the risk of side effects.

3. Differences from Ulthera

With the upgraded system, Ultherapy Prime offers faster treatment than the previous Ulthera.

This is because the operating time and the response speed when touching the screen have both improved, reducing the processing time required to generate each new shot. Depending on the practitioner’s technique or method, there may be differences, but when using a large number of shots, you will likely notice the significantly reduced time.

In addition, the ergonomically designed handpiece helps reduce hand fatigue, allowing smoother treatment,

and the equipment has been designed to fold, making it easier to store.

With the previous Ulthera, skin layers could be checked up to a depth of 4.5 mm, but Ultherapy Prime has been expanded to 8 mm, improving ultrasound resolution and making it possible to target energy more precisely without delivering it to unnecessary areas.

For those who were concerned about the possibility of cheek hollowing (skin depressions) after an Ulthera procedure, this can be a good alternative. In particular, even in cases where the skin is thin or elasticity has significantly decreased, safe treatment is possible, so even those worried about side effects can receive the procedure with less concern.

4. Ultherapy Prime: How long does it last?

Ultherapy Prime may show immediate changes right after the procedure, but its most notable feature is that it improves gradually over time.

Over 2 to 3 months after the procedure, collagen regenerates and elasticity gradually improves, with the optimal effect expected after about 6 months.

The effects of a single treatment typically last about 1 to 2 years, making it longer-lasting than other laser lifting procedures. In addition to its lifting effect, it also promotes collagen production, which plays a positive role in long-term improvement of skin elasticity. Depending on your skin condition, repeated treatments at regular intervals are recommended.
