Hello, this is Lifton Dermatology.
Every time I see a patient, I always think of one thing first.
“What method is needed for this person’s skin to recover as healthily as possible?”
For me, procedures are not simply a process of creating visible changes,
but a way to design an environment in which the skin can recover on its own.
One of the treatments I chose within that philosophy is Radiesse.
It is not just a simple filler, but a collagen booster that promotes collagen production within the skin, allowing results to deepen over time, and a procedure whose safety and effectiveness I have confirmed across a variety of cases.

On August 9, at Lifton Dermatology’s Sinsa main branch, we held an advanced seminar on Radiesse using Diluted CaHA together with Merz Aesthetics.
Many dermatology specialists from Korea joined us, and I was able to share my experience and expertise as both a lecturer and a demonstrator.
After dinner, I began the lecture by introducing today’s topic, “Various Applications of Diluted CaHA as Biostimulator.” Many people think of Radiesse as merely a “firm filler,” but in fact it is a treatment that enhances the skin’s own regenerative ability. Depending on how the dilution ratio and injection method are designed, the direction of the effect changes. For example, the approach differs from the start when the main goal is to improve skin texture and elasticity versus when volume restoration is needed.

In the lecture, I explained in detail how to apply it to various areas such as the midface, jawline, neck, and backs of the hands, as well as safe injection methods based on anatomical structures and improvement cases from real clinical practice. Rather than simply listing theory, I included practical content such as patient-specific strategies and tips for improving long-term durability.

I emphasized that because skin thickness, elasticity, and skeletal structure differ by area, even with the same product, the injection depth, direction, and amount must be carefully adjusted.
I also shared not only the immediate changes after treatment, but also the changes in skin texture and the process of improved elasticity that appear over several months after the procedure, along with real cases, to convey Radiesse’s strength as a treatment that is completed over time. Through this, I provided concrete guidance so that attendees could achieve safer and more predictable results in their own clinical settings.

During the live demo that followed, I analyzed the model’s face and jawline, and demonstrated the entire process from designing the areas with hollowing and reduced elasticity, to pre-procedure preparation, setting the dilution ratio, adjusting the injection path and depth, injection speed and pressure, and fine corrections.
While observing the immediate changes visible right after the procedure, I also shared tips for preventing side effects and for post-procedure care. In particular, I carefully demonstrated practical know-how such as how to adjust hand angle and pressure during actual injections, and the differences between using a needle and a cannula, to improve understanding in the room.

In the final Q&A session, concrete and practical questions continued, including detailed adjustments to dilution ratios, combined use with other fillers, and differences in maintenance duration by area.
I also found it an inspiring time as I listened to the perspectives and experiences of fellow directors.
In particular, in recognition of the effort that went into preparing and running this seminar, Merz Aesthetics presented me with a plaque of appreciation. It was even more meaningful because it was a moment when the clinical experience and educational activities I have built up over time were formally recognized, and it also reminded me of my responsibility to continue striving for a safe and high-standard treatment culture.
At the end of the event, we took a commemorative photo with everyone who attended and concluded a short but very meaningful day. I would like to once again express my deep gratitude to all the doctors who joined despite their busy schedules.

As an official Radiesse training center for Merz Aesthetics, Lifton Dermatology will continue to carry out research and education for safe and precise procedures.
For results that patients can trust and for the fundamental recovery of the skin,
my medical team and I will continue to do our best.
In addition, based on the latest trends and clinical data, we are developing customized treatment solutions tailored to each patient’s skin condition and goals. Rather than simply following popular procedures, we will continue to stay one step ahead in providing care with the goal of creating skin that is healthy and balanced over the long term.
Thank you.
