Hello. This is Lifton Dermatology Clinic.
Among those considering lifting treatments, SOFWAVE is a device that has recently been drawing attention.
In particular, interest is high among people who already have experience with lifting procedures such as Ulthera or Thermage, or who need follow-up care after those treatments.
Lifting devices are not something that can be chosen based on trend alone.
It is necessary to consider the direction of facial aging, skin thickness, the structure of the fat layer, and the speed of change,
and first make clear what role the device plays within the treatment system.
Based on this standard of review, we concluded that Sinsa SOFWAVE addresses layers that existing lifting devices could not reach,
and that it is a device that completes lifting results one step further.
Accordingly, SOFWAVE was officially introduced at Lifton Dermatology Clinic.

Why SOFWAVE is needed
Sinsa SOFWAVE targets the mid-dermis, about 1.5 mm below the skin surface, rather than deep layers.
This is the area where aging becomes noticeable first, and the early changes felt when looking in the mirror—such as reduced skin texture, fine lines, decreased elasticity, and slight blurring of facial contours—begin in this area.

Until now, HIFU devices such as Ulthera have played a role in stimulating deeper layers (the SMAS and fat layer) to correct structural sagging.
However, there have been limited devices that could simultaneously improve elasticity, texture, and surface quality in the superficial layers,
and Sinsa SOFWAVE precisely fills that gap.

So Sinsa SOFWAVE is better described not as a stand-alone lifting device,
but as a device that more naturally completes the lifting results that have already been created.
Relationship with existing devices — expansion, not replacement
Sinsa SOFWAVE is not meant to replace existing devices.
If Ulthera is the foundational step that lifts the facial structure,
Sinsa SOFWAVE is closer to a finishing step that refines texture and elasticity on top of that.
In actual use, its value becomes clearer when combined with other procedures rather than used alone.
It can help compensate for residual loss of elasticity after Ulthera, or smooth subtle differences in skin texture after thread lifting.
It is also useful for balancing the overall texture so that fillers do not look excessive,
and when used together with ONDA or lifting lasers, it can improve skin texture and increase elasticity at the same time.
In particular, the Ulthera + SOFWAVE combination addresses both deep and mid layers, making the results more natural and more complete.
Which cases is it suitable for?

Sinsa SOFWAVE is suitable for cases where a natural restoration of elasticity is desired rather than excessive lifting,
or when existing HIFU or thread lifting felt burdensome because of thin skin.
If fine lines begin to appear around the eyes or mouth, that is a good time for SOFWAVE to be introduced.

It is also suitable for people who want care with almost no downtime and do not want to interrupt their daily routine,
or for those who value lifting results that are not obvious.
In particular, it responds most clearly in the late 30s to early 40s, just before sagging begins in earnest.
How it is applied at Lifton’s Sinsa branch

Sinsa SOFWAVE is not applied in the same way to every patient.
Depending on skin thickness and elasticity, the energy intensity, shot distribution, and intervals and density of heat delivery are adjusted.
Also, because pain sensitivity varies, even with the same device, the anesthesia and cooling methods must be individually adjusted.
If there is prior experience with Ulthera, thread lifting, or filler procedures, the treatment direction is changed so that the results continue naturally.
So this is not simply a process of using a machine, but rather a treatment designed based on facial structure and current condition.

The lifting result is determined more by the standards and design than by the type of device.
Sinsa SOFWAVE is meaningful as a device that organizes the mid-layer within that design.
Lifton Dermatology Clinic will continue to approach care not simply by adding more devices,
but by expanding a treatment system that matches the structure of aging.
Thank you.
