Hello, I’m Moon Seong-hoon, the chief director of Lifton Dermatology.
Recently, more and more people have been showing interest in thread lifting.
At Lifton Dermatology, many patients visit us for thread lifting as well.
During consultations and procedures, there are cases where existing thread lifting alone feels somewhat insufficient, so we have been reviewing various thread lifting options that can complement it.
In that process, the thread I personally received training on and clinically confirmed is APTOS, and we are currently preparing to introduce it.

APTOS is one of the brands that has recently been attracting attention in the thread lifting field.
Although it has not yet officially launched in Korea,
Lifton Dermatology is carefully preparing by thoroughly reviewing materials and training content on APTOS before its formal introduction.
Before introducing a new procedure or material to patients, I place the greatest importance on checking what kind of changes are possible for which patients in a real clinical setting, and how predictably those results can be achieved.
Sinsa thread lifting as Lifton Dermatology sees it

I do not think Sinsa thread lifting is simply a procedure that pulls up sagging skin.
The face is influenced by the skin, fat, and support structures in a complex way,
and aging also progresses differently from person to person in terms of direction and speed.

So when performing Sinsa thread lifting, I place more importance on what structure should be supported and how, and proceed with the procedure accordingly.
That is also why I began reviewing APTOS from this perspective.
What is APTOS thread lifting?

APTOS thread lifting is designed not as a method that tries to solve all lifting with a single thread, but rather as one that allows different thread structures to be selected according to the area, purpose, and tissue characteristics.
It can be applied not only to the face, but also to areas such as the nose, ears, and body, and the products are organized on the premise that the fixation strength and tissue response required differ by area, making it possible to perform procedures in a more systematic way.

In particular, one of the features that APTOS emphasizes and that I am paying attention to is that it is structured not merely for pulling, but also with consideration for tissue support and improvement in skin condition.
In addition, one of the characteristics of the APTOS brand is that it offers separate product lines: products aimed at strengthening support in skin tissue, products for correcting body contours, and products specialized for specific areas such as the nose and ears.
Because it can be applied to a variety of areas, it is designed with a focus on how it stabilizes and remains maintained within the tissue after insertion,
which can help perform and maintain Sinsa thread lifting more stably.
Why Lifton Dermatology for APTOS thread lifting?
Because APTOS can be applied to a wide range of areas,
understanding how it stabilizes and how it is maintained within the tissue after insertion is more important than anything else.

At Lifton Dermatology, based on these structural characteristics, we do not apply the same method to every patient; instead, we present a 1:1 customized plan that comprehensively considers the facial structure, the direction of sagging, previous lifting procedure history, and the thickness and elasticity of the skin.

What matters is not simply doing APTOS, but rather which patient should receive APTOS and how it should be used, because that determines the outcome of Sinsa thread lifting.
With this careful and systematized 1:1 customized plan, natural results can be expected.
At Lifton Dermatology, rather than simply introducing new procedures quickly, we place importance on providing patients with safe and predictable results.

To this end, before introducing the product, we personally participated in a global training held in Tbilisi, Georgia, where we shared expertise, and based on that process, we are organizing Lifton Dermatology’s own treatment standards.
Therefore, we can carry out treatment safely and expect stable, changed results.
Going forward, Lifton Dermatology will continue Sinsa thread lifting treatments with clear standards and design, rather than simply following trends.
Thank you.
