Hello, this is Lepton Dermatology Clinic.
Recently, representatives from the APTOS headquarters visited our clinic.
APTOS has not been on the domestic market for long,
but before its launch in Korea, we visited the headquarters in Georgia directly for training, and after its domestic release, we quickly introduced it and have continued performing procedures with it.

The APTOS headquarters also visited us, expressing interest in our clinic’s clinical experience as a thread lifting partner.
This visit went beyond a simple greeting and was a chance to review design points, longevity,
and the conditions needed for natural results based on actual cases.
In particular, we discussed how APTOS is being applied to Korean patients and what points are given priority during the actual procedure.

It is easy to think of thread lifting as a procedure that simply inserts threads and lifts sagging skin.
But in reality, a much more complex approach is needed.
This is because skin sagging caused by aging is not only a skin issue, but also the result of changes in the fat layer, ligament structure, and SMAS layer.
Therefore, rather than simply pulling, the procedure should be performed while considering how to reposition structural changes
so that safe and natural results can be expected.

This is also why we quickly introduced APTOS thread lifting.
Unlike conventional PDO single-material threads, APTOS is composed of a complex formula of PLLA, PCL, and HA, so in addition to simple lifting, it is a product that can also be expected to improve skin elasticity and support tissue regeneration.
We determined that, while supporting sagging skin, it could also induce collagen formation and help improve skin texture and hydration, offering effects different from those of existing thread lifting procedures.
In actual APTOS thread lifting procedures, the thread itself is relatively thin, but it forms sufficient support because of its high affinity with tissue.
Also, compared with general thread lifting, swelling tends to be less,
so patients are generally more satisfied because they can return to daily life relatively quickly.

This is also a procedure I have recently been especially interested in and have applied, so I have mentioned related information through threads as well.
APTOS thread lifting is not limited to a simple lifting effect; because it can be expected to offer a combined effect of complementing sunken areas and improving skin texture, a careful approach is needed from the diagnostic stage.
In addition, the practitioner’s skill and design ability are also important factors.

At Lepton Dermatology Clinic, we use the MetaView device, which allows detailed analysis, to closely identify the cause of skin sagging and establish a customized treatment plan accordingly.
In some cases, combination procedures may be more appropriate than thread lifting alone, so we provide guidance in a direction suited to each individual’s condition.
We also carry out 1:1 customized design by comprehensively considering sagging areas, sunken areas, skin elasticity, and hydration status.
Based on the techniques we learned directly from the Georgia headquarters, we perform safer and more precise procedures and aim for results that change naturally without being excessive.

The more procedures I perform, the more I feel that thread lifting is not simply about choosing a product, but about how that product is planned and applied.
At Lepton Dermatology Clinic, we will continue to quickly introduce good products in the future, and we will not stop at simply bringing them in; through ongoing research and clinical experience, we will strive to create safer and more satisfying results.
Thank you.
