Hello, I’m Jeon Jae-wook, the chief director of Lifton Dermatology.
A little while ago, Galderma held its flagship academic event, HERO NIGHT.
HERO NIGHT is a gathering where medical professionals in Korea’s aesthetic medicine field come together,
and it is the largest academic event hosted by Galderma.

At this event, I participated on behalf of Lifton Dermatology,
and I had the honor of presenting as the first speaker.

As this was the opening lecture for the event,
it was a presentation I prepared carefully, thinking through everything from the content structure to the delivery method.

In this lecture, centered on Restylane Vital Light, one of Galderma’s flagship products,
I shared my clinical experience and organized my thoughts on how to improve skin quality.

Lifton Dermatology is a hospital selected as a Restylane Master Doctor, and many people actually visit for Restylane Vital Light treatments.
Because of that, I wanted this lecture to focus less on theory and more on practical, real-world clinical experience.
One of the biggest features of Restylane Vital Light is its NASHA technology.

NASHA technology is a structure that evenly processes hyaluronic acid particles and stabilizes cross-linking so that the skin can retain moisture for a long time.
This structure is not simply about adding moisture to the skin.
Rather, it remains stably within the skin and creates differences in terms of tissue integration, even distribution, and longevity.
Because of these characteristics, in actual clinical practice, it often leads to results that appear more stable over time rather than only producing short-term changes.
Another important point I addressed was the injection location and method.

Restylane Vital Light is not only about the product itself; the outcome can also vary depending on which layer it is applied to and how it is approached.
That is why I also explained the injection method in more detail during this lecture.
Basic factors such as maintaining a consistent depth, injecting at even intervals, and delivering a uniform volume can make a surprisingly large difference in the actual results.

In particular, Restylane Vital Light is equipped with the Smart Click system, which allows uniform injection in 100 doses of 0.01 cc each.
When used appropriately, this method can help reduce unnecessary swelling, bruising, and recovery time while producing a more natural result with Restylane Vital Light.
However, using the same approach for every patient does not lead to good outcomes,
so in clinical practice, the treatment approach must be adjusted according to the reason for treatment and the skin condition.

For example,
if dryness is the main concern, the approach should consider longevity;
if fine lines or enlarged pores are the issue, the focus should be on structural improvement;
and if immediate radiance is desired, another skin booster may be used in combination.
In other words, it is important to set the treatment plan differently depending on the patient’s condition and goals.

I also shared these points through actual patient cases,
and beyond simply improving skin hydration, we were able to confirm improvement in fine lines, better skin tone, and overall changes in skin texture, along with a pattern of more stable results over time.

While preparing for this HERO NIGHT lecture, I was also able to revisit the standards I have considered important in actual procedures.
Restylane Vital Light is not simply a treatment that involves injection.
It is a procedure that must be approached differently depending on the skin condition and the intended purpose.
In addition, while following the basic principles of maintaining consistent depth, spacing, and volume, it is important to adjust the injection density and range to match each patient’s individual skin characteristics in order to create a more natural and stable result.
I believe this process goes beyond a simple procedure and becomes a process of understanding and designing for the patient’s skin.
Lifton Dermatology will continue to provide precise treatments tailored to each patient’s skin,
and we will continue striving to create trustworthy results based on ongoing research and clinical experience.
Thank you.
