Hello. This is Lifton Dermatology.
When considering filler treatments, many people compare products. While product selection is certainly important, achieving a natural result also depends on how the facial structure is assessed and the treatment is designed.
This is because even the same filler can produce different results depending on the injection site and depth, as well as the design tailored to the facial structure.
At Lifton Dermatology, we design fillers for each patient based on Lifton’s Contour-Fix Point Fill approach, which considers the face’s support points and overall balance together.
What Is Contour-Fix Point Fill?
Contour-Fix Point Fill is not a method of adding volume throughout the entire face.
It is a treatment that identifies and reinforces key support points that hold up weakened facial contours. Rather than simply adding volume to hollow areas,
we identify the points that support the contours from within the face and design the injection sites and products according to each individual’s facial structure.

Changes that make the face look saggy, such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or jowls, are not caused solely by a lack of volume.
When the forces that hold the skin and fat in place weaken, the tissues may descend, making the facial contours look heavier and less defined.

Lifton’s Contour-Fix Point Fill first identifies the support points that are needed, then selects products suited to those locations to support weakened contours from within.
Rather than filling the face extensively, the treatment is designed to refine the contours naturally, as if securing them in place.
Designing Contour-Fix Treatments Around the Retaining Ligaments
Contour-Fix Point Fill is designed around the support points near the retaining ligaments.
After first identifying where the facial contours appear to have weakened, we examine which points should be supported to naturally refine the overall line,
and then apply products according to the injection site, depth, and product characteristics.

Because the concept is for the filler to support the facial contours like a small support, it is important to use the necessary product in the necessary amount at the precise location, rather than injecting a large volume.
Product Selection for Contour-Fix Point Fill

Contour-Fix Point Fill is not limited to one particular product.
Depending on the condition of the face and the treatment goal, the selection may range from hyaluronic acid fillers such as StyleAge, Juvéderm, and Restylane to product lines such as Ellansé, Radiesse, and Sculptra, which also take collagen responses into consideration.
What matters is looking first at what role is needed for the face, rather than focusing on the product itself.
We distinguish whether an area needs a smooth transition, restoration of lost volume, or the supporting strength needed to hold up the facial contours.
We then create a one-to-one design that also considers facial shape, skin thickness, the extent of hollowing, facial expressions, and movement.
Lifton Contour-Fix × StyleAge
StyleAge is a hyaluronic acid filler from the French company VIVACY.
It consists of several lines, making it suitable for use in Contour-Fix Point Fill treatments, which are tailored to the treatment area and purpose.

If Contour-Fix Point Fill determines the facial structure and injection direction,
StyleAge can be understood as a filler that allows continuity, volume, and support to be applied separately according to that design.

For example, an area that needs a smooth transition and an area that needs a certain degree of firm support may be difficult to treat in the same way with one filler.
StyleAge is composed of lines with different formulations and physical properties, such as S, M, L, and XL, allowing selection according to the purpose of each area.
Mannitol and Antioxidant Formulation in StyleAge Filler

StyleAge filler contains mannitol, which is known as an antioxidant ingredient.
After a hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the skin, it gradually breaks down over time. During this process, reactive oxygen species may affect the stable maintenance of hyaluronic acid.
Mannitol in StyleAge is an ingredient considered to help reduce the effects of reactive oxygen species, allowing the filler to remain more stable within the skin.

It is also a filler designed with structural safety and smooth injection performance in mind through IPN-Like Technology and Bio Injection Technology.
Why Contour-Fix Point Fill Matters
What matters in Contour-Fix Point Fill is not simply the feeling that volume has been added. A result feels more natural when the overall balance of the face has been refined naturally.
Even when the same amount of volume is added, failing to consider the flow of the facial contours may make certain areas stand out or cause facial expressions to look awkward.
That is why Contour-Fix Point Fill first identifies the points that need support and designs the products within the balance of the entire face.
It focuses on a naturally refined appearance and harmonious changes that do not look excessive or obvious.

At Lifton Dermatology, we carefully assess each patient’s different facial structure, skin thickness, degree of hollowing, facial expressions and movement, and desired overall impression before creating a one-to-one customized design.
We will continue to provide meticulous care, taking each individual’s facial flow and balance into consideration to reduce unnaturalness and help their natural appearance come through in a harmonious way.
Thank you.
