[Seongsu-dong Cafe] Seongsu Cafe Street with Delicious Strawberry Lattes

Today, I’m bringing you a review of ‘Humboldt’ from Seongsu-dong Cafe Street, which is full of trendy cafes.

Humboldt is located at the far end of the area where Seongsu Station’s cafe street begins.

It takes about 10 leisurely minutes on foot from Seongsu Station.

Since it’s strawberry season, a strawberry drink banner welcomes you at the entrance.

The entire building is a cafe.

It has a basement level, first floor, and second floor.

The chandelier is impressive.

On the left side of the entrance, there are stairs that lead to the basement and the upper floors.

On the right side, there is a display case with bread, macarons, and cakes.

Maybe because I visited in the evening, there weren’t many kinds of bread available.

There are also pretty slices of cake.

Personally, I like Humboldt’s Palmiers!

Drink menu

There is a wide variety of menu items, including coffee, tea, various fruit drinks, milk tea, and even ice cream.

They also sell bottled drinks and beer.

After placing our order, we take a look around the cafe.

On the second floor, there is a space where you can study, and tables in the back.

Due to the COVID-19 aftermath, there weren’t many people, but the second-floor seats were still fairly full.

Shall we go down to the basement via the stairs?

Even though it’s a basement, there is an outdoor terrace, so it didn’t feel too closed in.

The basement is spacious and there are lots of tables.

Comfortable-looking seats and various decorative items.

One entire wall was filled with framed pictures.

And on one side, there was a small stage.

Seeing the keyboard and drums, I thought performances might be held here.

I’ll have to come back later to watch a live performance.

We found a seat in the basement, where there were relatively fewer people.

We ordered a strawberry latte, strawberry shortcake, and a Sweet Dolce Latte.

I was deciding between strawberry roll and strawberry shortcake, and chose the strawberry shortcake.

Since strawberries were in season, it was delicious.

I recommend visiting before strawberry season ends and trying it for yourself!

This was an honest review of Humboldt in Seongsu-dong, with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cakes and bread!
