Mano di Chef Samseong Branch is

in the basement.

We were asked whether we had a reservation

and then shown to our seats.

If you make a reservation, it seems they guide you to a more private table.

We visited without a reservation,

and it was rather quiet, perhaps because of COVID.

One wall was decorated with wine glasses,

and when an actual wine order came in,

they would take those glasses and use them as they were.

Today, we ordered the couple set!

The set includes Caesar salad, steak pizza,

baked pasta in bread, and two drinks.

We ordered orange and lemon ade.

Generous Caesar salad

Its distinctive savory aroma

and the tender chicken breast

were very good.

I really liked them.

The steak pizza arrived shortly after!!

This is why we came here today.

It is Mano di Chef’s signature menu item,

with squid ink dough topped with a sweet sauce,

crisp vegetables, thick steak,

and plenty of cheese.

The server told us to

transfer it onto a plate like this

and wrap it up to eat.

The meat was really tender,

and the sauce was sweet,

perfect for Korean tastes.

A flavor anyone, young or old,

would enjoy.

For the pasta, we ordered a fungi panne

with lots of mushrooms.

It had whole king oyster mushrooms

and plenty of other mushrooms too.

It even gave off a mushroom cream soup feel.

The bread holding the pasta

and the sauce went together very well.

I think the set cost about 60,000 won in total.

Mano di Chef seems to be a place that

nearby office workers often visit for lunch gatherings,

and also a place many couples enjoy.
