[Munjeong Restaurant] Special Regional Makgeolli from Across the Country, Munjeong Station

There are days when I especially crave makgeolli,

right?

When it’s drizzling,

I think of makgeolli and jeon.

Today, I’m sharing an honest review of

"Yukjeon Myeon Office" in Munjeong-dong,

where you can try makgeolli from all over the country in one place.

Shall we get started?

Yukjeon Myeon Office, Munjeong Legal Town branch,

located on the basement level 1 of M Station

From various set menus

to meal menus, it catches your eye.

I visited before 7 p.m.,

and the seats were already filling up with people.

I also saw groups having company dinners.

There are many kinds of drinks and snacks,

especially a lot of jeon,

and there are also meal items like noodles and rice bowls.

There are makgeolli selections from all over the country

and a makgeolli sampler too.

The menu was so varied that I spent quite a while

carefully reading the menu before choosing.

I quenched my thirst with

Gongju chestnut makgeolli.

Beef bulgogi and noodles served separately:

beef bulgogi gomtang fresh noodles

A dish with various kinds of jeon:

mixed jeon

For the beef bulgogi gomtang fresh noodles,

I added the bulgogi and ate it.

It was a bit bland for my taste,

but my companion liked it.

Each piece of the mixed jeon

was delicious.

It wasn’t greasy,

so I was able to enjoy every last bite.

The sweet, mildly sharp, and smooth taste of

Gongju chestnut makgeolli

paired very well with the warm jeon.

If I’m drinking well next time,

I’d like to try the makgeolli sampler.
