[Namyangju Cafe] Enjoying a Cup of Coffee in a Tranquil Hanok, Dumullmeori

I thought a gentle spring breeze was blowing, but it already feels like summer has started.

Around midday, the temperature is nearing 30°C, so before the real heat arrives, we kept social distancing and took a short drive out to the suburbs.

We went a little late after dinner.

Since it was night, many of the photos came out blurry;

If you walk along the stone path,

you’ll find the bakery cafe Godang.

It feels like a house in the countryside.

It also feels a bit like a temple,

and a bit like a folk village.

Since we went in the evening, there weren’t many kinds of bread.

The display case is almost empty. ㅠㅠ

Once you’re seated, they bring you the menu

themselves and take your order

right at the table.

The bread is chosen by placing it directly on a tray

and ordering that way.

The indoor seating is all floor seating,

and you have to take off your shoes before going in.

There is a separate outdoor terrace seating area.

The drinks didn’t have a particularly distinctive taste.

Hot chocolate, iced Americano,

and fresh cream roll. They tasted ordinary.

that seems like it would feel different if you visited during the day,

this was my honest review of Dumullmeori’s 'Godang'.
