a place that repays you with results.

Last week, I went to Gangneung for a breath of sea air.

After being cooped up at home for so long, seeing the cool ocean made me feel much less suffocated.

Of course, I also kept social distancing and brought a mask and hand sanitizer with me.

Today, I’ll introduce a brunch place in Gangneung that left a strong impression on me.

Shall we get started?

This is brunch cafe TOOBITE.

This place sells coffee and brunch menu items.

The interior is neat and modern.

Maybe because it was a weekday, there weren’t many people.

There are decorative items placed throughout the space.

Right up my alley.

There are also tables on the outdoor terrace.

Since the weather was nice, we took a seat outside.

It would have been nice if there had been white sand and the ocean in front, but the greenery was nice in its own way.

In addition to classic brunch items, there were also a variety of other menu options available, such as tteokbokki (?), burgers, pizza, and panini.

There was also a photo menu like this, which made choosing much easier.

We found a suitable spot and ordered drinks and brunch.

The owner here was very kind!

A beautifully presented open sandwich, Avocado Egg.

The Tomato Mozzarella Panini, with rich cheese between squid ink bread, was delicious.

Pancakes, salad, and scrambled eggs, plus crispy bacon and potatoes on one plate: a classic brunch.

For drinks, we had coffee and orange juice.

Just looking at the menu gives off a hotel breakfast vibe too.

For two people, three menu items is the norm, right?

Nothing was missing from the food, and everything we ordered was delicious.

The portions were quite generous too, and the taste was excellent.

It was a satisfying meal.

If you visit Gangneung and feel like having brunch, this is a place I highly recommend stopping by.
