[Samsung-dong Restaurant] A Chinese Restaurant Near Samsung Station

Isn't it, “What should I eat for lunch today?”

One of the most commonly chosen menu items

is probably jjajangmyeon.

In Samsung-dong, where JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery is located,

there are many delicious Chinese restaurants.

Among them, I’m introducing

Samsung-dong’s ‘Hoshingak,’ which was satisfying in taste, price, and portion size.

Shall we get started right away?

Located between Posco Intersection and Samsung Station,

the Samsung-dong Chinese restaurant ‘Hoshingak’

We were shown a seat close to the entrance.

The lunch special menu caught my eye.

Since it was lunchtime, they didn’t give us a separate menu.

The meal menu and recommended dishes on the table

were more than enough.

They will provide a separate menu if requested,

and there were also lunch course and dinner course options

with a wider variety of dishes.

We ordered spicy platter jjajangmyeon,

beef brisket jjambbong, and a small order of sweet-and-sour pork.

As soon as we sat down, they served

deep-fried dumplings for each person as a complimentary item.

I forgot to take a photo,

but even though they were complimentary dumplings,

they tasted really good.

Here comes the glossy sweet-and-sour pork.

It was crispy, sweet, and delicious.

There was no unpleasant smell, and the meat was thick.

As the name suggests, it was served on a wide plate.

It was moderately spicy and sweet, and delicious.

There was plenty of seafood and meat inside as well,

and the sauce was so good that I wanted to mix it with rice.

An enormous portion of beef brisket jjambbong!

It was half beef brisket and half noodles.

The brisket and noodles were basically 1:1.

No matter how much I ate, the meat kept coming out.

It’s jjambbong, but it has a seolleongtang-like feel.

Because the meat broth was so rich,

it also felt like a red pho.

It was barely spicy.

The broth is rich.

If you’re eating deliciously, they even bring canned peaches

for dessert.

I went during lunchtime, and office workers from nearby

kept coming in nonstop.

But it was still surprising that there were always seats available.

It seemed like there were several spacious private rooms farther inside.

You can also check the place of origin at a glance,

I was so curious about the spicy egg jjambbong

that I visited again on another day.

It was generously topped with eggs and innards,

which was right up my alley... Compared with the beef brisket jjambbong,

it was much spicier and tastier!

I’m planning to eat it again next time.
