Hello :)
JW Plastic Surgery Clinic
returns results.
As the weather gets warmer,
these days I keep craving only cold dishes!
I visited Soba Restaurant, a hot spot in Seongsu-dong.
This place has only become more famous after appearing on a TV program!
Let me start this honest review now?

It is located near the Seongsu-dong cafe street.
It is tucked away between residential alleyways,
so you should check the map carefully before going.

You can see the business hours and menu from outside as well.
It would be good to look at while waiting!
Maybe because we went right at opening time,
we were luckily shown to a seat right away.

They serve kimchi and pickled radish on a cute plate.
A typical table setting for a Japanese restaurant

There is a friendly menu guide in front of the menu.
It even explains how to eat, so it may be helpful to refer to it.

There were a great variety of soba dishes.
There was also hot noodle soup.
In addition, there were rice bowls, side dishes, alcohol, and snacks.
On one wall, there is also a recommended menu.

We ordered uni cold soba and Korean beef shank cold soba,
and set the table.
The price is on the expensive side, probably because of the ingredients.

Uni cold soba
with lots of cucumber and sea urchin on top

There is really a lot of shredded cucumber on top,
so if you don’t like cucumber, please keep that in mind :)

The broth base seems to be the same,
and you can choose the topping.
Even though the meat was cold, it was still fairly tender.

Mix in the wasabi well and take a bite.
The broth was rich and very refreshing.

It also comes with a generous amount of sea urchin roe.
A generous amount of ingredients for the price.
Sea urchin tends to be a matter of preference,
so if you dislike a fishy taste or its distinctive aroma,
you may want to try a different soba dish.
It was a great bowl to enjoy on a hot day,
and this was my honest review of Soba Restaurant in Seongsu-dong.

There are more seats than I expected,
and the table turnover is good, so even though there was a wait,
it seemed to clear quickly.
That concludes my honest review of Soba Restaurant,
a Seongsu-dong favorite.
