[Yeouido Restaurant] A brunch restaurant with a great view, an honest review of The Morning of the World in Yeouido

Today, I’m bringing you a review of the brunch restaurant in Yeouido,

'The Morning of the World,' where you can take in a panoramic view of Seoul at a glance.

A thrilling entrance shot.

It has a wedding hall kind of feel too.

The Morning of the World is

located on the 50th floor of the FKI Tower in Yeouido.

The high ceiling makes it seem that way even more,

but it’s very spacious.

On weekends, they don’t take separate reservations,

so we put ourselves on the waiting list as soon as it opened.

Of course, you have to line up before opening.

I’d usually heard the wait is about an hour,

but since we went through a heavy downpour that day,

we were lucky enough to get a seat quickly.

You can see the National Assembly Building too,

and KBS as well.

Looking down from such a high floor makes the buildings

look like little models, which is adorable.

It would have been even better if the weather had been clear..

A cloudy day has its own charm too.

Since it was a heavy rain + opening time,

the seating was pretty relaxed.

There were a variety of menu items,

including salads, pasta, grilled dishes,

brunch, cafe, and dessert menus.

Even the side plate was right up my alley.

We ordered the truffle black risotto

and the rosé mozzarella fettuccine.

They first bring out bread before the meal.

With balsamic olive oil.

The bread was delicious.

Jet-black risotto.

The plate is so pretty too.

Among all the squid ink risottos I’ve had so far,

this was by far the darkest...and

it was delicious.

I want to eat it again.

The amount... is this for real?

It was rich and delicious,

but the portion was tiny and precious.

We scraped every last bit clean.

The Morning of the World in Yeouido

generally has a pretty high price range.

But the portions are small...

I guess the view is included in the price.

Fortunately, it was tasty enough to match the price.

This was my honest review of The Morning of the World in Yeouido,

which I think would be a nice place to visit on a special day.
