A Nice Meat Restaurant in Seongsu-dong,

I heard that a hot meat restaurant had opened in Seongsu-dong,

so I rushed over, and here is my review of 'Ggotgan Seongsu,'

which was nice in both atmosphere and taste.

This is 'Ggotgan Seongsu,'

located near the Seongsu-dong cafe street.

You can see the menu at a glance from outside.

It is a meat restaurant that mainly serves Hanwoo beef, Korean pork, and marinated grilled meat. There is also a lunch menu.

The interior is not very spacious.

We made a reservation in advance,

so we were able to sit inside.

The table was already set.

All of the side dishes were tasty.

The sauce for dipping the meat was tasty too.

They were selling wine.

I wanted to eat ribeye cap, but they said it was sold out,

so we ordered the tenderloin and sirloin first.

They also give you asparagus, mushrooms, and pumpkin.

Let’s start with the tenderloin.

Cooked properly and eaten yum yum.

The tenderloin was really tender.

was savory and delicious.

We also ordered soybean paste stew

and steamed egg to go with it,

but the soybean paste stew was a taste that people may like or dislike.

It was not the usual soybean paste stew you get at a meat restaurant;

it seemed to be mixed slightly with cheonggukjang.

We heard the pork belly was delicious,

so we ordered two servings,

and the many knife cuts were impressive.

In terms of taste, the beef was better.

Overall, the atmosphere was neat,

and not much smoke from grilling the meat came out,

so it was a restaurant where you could eat without worrying about the smell.

However, during busy times, the staff seemed very busy.

We had to ask for side dish refills several times, and,

also, some tables had the meat grilled for them,

while others were told to grill it themselves.

I found those parts a bit disappointing.

It was a good restaurant for gatherings with a small number of people.
