Hello :)
We at JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery
repay you with results.
Not long ago, I went out to the suburbs
and visited the famous makguksu restaurant featured on Baek Jong-won's Top 3 Chef King,
'Gogi-ri Makguksu.'
The unique makguksu was impressive,
so I’m bringing you a review.
Let’s get started right away?

Even though it was around 5 p.m. on a weekday,
there were still one or two parking spaces left.
There were also many people waiting,
and the location was fairly close to Bundang.

I visited before COVID started spreading again,
and maybe because it overlapped with the vacation period,
many people were waiting.

After getting a waiting number and waiting about 20 minutes,
we were able to go in.
The interior is fairly clean,

The menu is simple.
Makguksu, noodles, boiled pork,
and noodles for little kids are available.

We ordered one plate of boiled pork and two bowls of makguksu.
The boiled pork was glossy and appetizing.
It was tender, free of any unpleasant smell, and delicious.

They give you salted shrimp, sauce,
and white kimchi to go with it.

The restaurant’s signature makguksu is topped generously with perilla oil, seaweed flakes, and sesame seeds!
The first bite was light, savory, and delicious.

It felt different from the makguksu I usually eat.
However, for someone like me, who is used to strong flavors,
it became greasy the more I ate... and greasy...
It was the kind of taste I couldn’t eat without kimchi.
After eating about two-thirds of it, I poured in the broth and ate it,
but even that felt greasy ^_^
Please give me the sauce...!!
The boiled pork was delicious, and the unique makguksu
made Gogi-ri Makguksu an impressive visit.
It’s a taste worth trying at least once!
