[Seongsu Restaurant] Lee Young-ja’s Top Pick, Ttukseom Handmade Burger

The famous Seongsu-dong ‘Zestysaloon,’ which became well-known after appearing on TV,

always had such a long line that I never even thought to visit. This time, I finally worked up the courage to try it.

Zestysaloon, located on the Seoul Forest cafe street.

It’s close to Ttukseom Station or Seoul Forest Station.

Just go up the stairs.

You can write your name on the waiting list in the middle.

There were 25 groups ahead of us.

At least a 1-hour wait ^^

After chatting in the car, we went over when only 4 groups were left, and the timing worked out perfectly.

While they cleared the tables, we ordered first.

The two of us ordered three items.

Everyone eats this much, right?

The interior is not very spacious.

There are window seats too.

Not to be left out, there was hand sanitizer, and, as expected from a handmade burger place, a small sink where you could wash your hands.

We were shown to a large table, where we sat side by side with our companion.

Finally, the burger spread arrived.

Zesty Garlic (top left), Cheese Garlic Fries (top right)

American Cheese (bottom left), Wasabi Shrimp (bottom right)

And pickled onions and Sprite.

They looked quite large, but the hamburgers themselves weren’t that big.

That’s why we ordered three of them (excuse, excuse).

The one I was most curious about was the Wasabi Shrimp.

Since it had been on TV, my expectations were high.

Personally, it was the least impressive of the three burgers.

Maybe because I was expecting too much...

The wasabi flavor was much stronger than I expected, and it was very salty.

My top pick was the American Cheese.

It was exactly the taste of a handmade burger.

The Zesty Garlic Burger and Cheese Garlic Fries

were just the ordinary, familiar taste everyone knows.

It wasn’t worth waiting over an hour for.

If the waiting time gets a little shorter, I think it would be fine to go then and eat.
