Hello :)
JW Garden Plastic Surgery,
where results speak for themselves.

If someone looks older than their actual age,
looks aged, or seems mature,
it is often because the midface is long.
It is also called a horse-face look, right? When the nose is long
and the nose tip droops downward as well,
it can make a person look even older.
In such cases, long nose surgery / hooked nose correction
can complete a more youthful and lively image.
Today, we will look at JW Garden Plastic Surgery's
hooked nose surgery / long nose correction methods.

This links to before-and-after photos of long nose surgery.
Is my nose a hooked nose / long nose?
A nose whose tip droops downward and covers the philtrum,
and whose tip looks like an arrowhead,
is called a "hooked nose."
If the nose is long relative to the overall length of the face
and droops downward, it can make the person look
older than their actual age.
More important than long nose surgery reviews or hooked nose surgery costs
is the long nose surgery method that can create a nose shape
in harmony with your face.

Generally, the ideal and most beautiful nose length
is about one-third of the total length of the face.
A hooked nose / long nose can make the midface look longer
when smiling or when making certain sounds ('o', 'u'),
because the nose tip droops.
These issues can be addressed through various surgical methods.
Learn about long nose surgery and hooked nose correction methods
Dr. Seorman Gun of JW Garden Plastic Surgery
has performed rhinoplasty exclusively for more than 20 years
and possesses a wide range of techniques
for long nose / hooked nose surgery.
Depending on the patient's nasal condition,
the most suitable surgical plan is selected,
and combined procedures are performed when necessary
to achieve more satisfying results.

- Alar cartilage resection
If part of the upper wing portion of the nasal tip cartilage (alar cartilage)
is resected and the cartilage is tied together,
the nasal tip cartilage moves upward
and is repositioned, shortening the nose while making it appear higher.

- Septal cartilage support
It may also be necessary to place a support structure
made of septal cartilage in the columella area
to support and lift the nasal tip cartilage.

- Muscle resection
In some cases, the muscle that pulls the nose tip downward
is cut.
In this case, the nose tip does not droop even when smiling
or pronouncing 'o' or 'u'.

- Septal cartilage resection
If the septal cartilage is long,
part of the septal cartilage can be resected
as an additional procedure.

- Columella correction
If the skin of the nasal tip has become loose,
part of the loose skin tissue inside the columella
is resected and corrected.
How should you care for your nose after long nose / hooked nose surgery?

After nose surgery, keeping the heart slightly lower
than the surgical area helps reduce swelling.
For about 2 to 3 days after surgery, it is good to apply ice packs.
For about one month after rhinoplasty, avoid strong friction on the surgical area
or receiving deep tissue massage, and it is recommended
to visit saunas or jjimjilbangs only after one month has passed
since the surgery.
Also, drinking alcohol and smoking after rhinoplasty
slow wound healing, so avoid them,
and do not resume them until at least 4 weeks later.
Light exercise such as walking is possible immediately after nose surgery,
but vigorous exercise such as aerobics, tennis, and swimming
is also recommended only after about one month has passed.

- Plastic surgery may cause side effects such as bleeding and infection depending on the individual.
