This is JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery.

A beautiful nose tip not only adds dimension to the face,
but can also create a more youthful, age-defying effect,
so many people choose to undergo nose tip surgery together with rhinoplasty.
To achieve natural movement and an attractive shape,
and to prevent sagging or asymmetry after surgery,
advanced skill and expertise are required.
Today, let’s look at JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery’s nose tip surgery,
which creates a nose tip that does not sag over time
and moves naturally.

Many people worry that after nose tip surgery,
the nose will become stiff,
movement will feel unnatural, and
it may not be possible to do the so-called “pig nose” motion.
Director Seo Man-gun of JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery
uses autologous tissue in nose tip surgery,
which significantly lowers the likelihood of postoperative inflammation
or side effects such as thinning of the nose tip skin,
and completes a nose tip that moves naturally.

- Nose tip cartilage repositioning

First, without inserting any implants,
in a no-implant rhinoplasty approach,
methods such as nose tip cartilage suturing and reducing nose tip volume
are used to reposition the cartilage of the nose tip,
elevate the tip, or reduce its volume,
creating a slender and refined nose tip.
Because it is performed as no-implant rhinoplasty,
there is no concern about implant-related side effects,
and there is also the advantage that there is no need for additional incisions
just to harvest ear cartilage or rib cartilage.

- Autologous cartilage grafting
Second, there is an autologous cartilage grafting method
that corrects the shape of the nose tip using septal cartilage,
ear cartilage, or rib cartilage.
There are various nose tip surgery methods,
such as shield grafts, cap grafts, columellar strut grafts,
septal extension, and reverse rotation extension.
Reverse rotation extension is a surgical method that uses ear cartilage
to lengthen the nose in the longitudinal direction.
Because ear cartilage is softer than other cartilage,
it allows natural movement to the left, right, and upward,
creating the so-called “pig nose” motion.
In addition, to prevent cartilage from showing through the nose tip,
methods such as grafting autologous dermis or acellular dermal matrix,
as well as combination nose tip surgery that combines several of the methods above,
can be performed to create a three-dimensional and attractive nose tip.

How should you manage yourself after nose tip surgery?
Many people also look into post-op care after nose tip surgery.
After surgery, it is said to be helpful for reducing swelling
to keep the heart lower than the surgical area.
It is also recommended to apply ice packs for 2–3 days after surgery.
Saunas and steam rooms are best avoided until one month after surgery,
and strong friction on the surgical area or treatments such as deep-tissue massage
should be avoided.
Alcohol and smoking slow wound healing,
so please refrain from them!
Light walking is possible immediately after surgery,
but strenuous exercise such as aerobics, tennis, and swimming
is best started after about 4 weeks.
Today, we looked into nose tip surgery.
If you are concerned about a blunt nose tip,
a nose tip that is turned up like a pig nose,
a nose tip that is lower than the bridge of the nose,
or a low nose tip,
you can complete a beautiful nose tip through nose tip surgery.
